JD LASER is looking to fill an immediate opening for a part-time shipping/receiving clerk. Shedule is flexible. Our current hours are 7 a.m. to 3:30 .m. - Monday - Friday.
Job Description
Job duties will include UPS tasks, pulling parts for orders, loading and unloading trucks, loading flatbed trucks outside, scanning routers and creating packing slips from purchase orders. Will assist Shipping/Receiving Manager with other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Ability to perform all duties named above (but not limited to)
- Report to work on time and excellent attendance
- Help to keep the work area clean and safe
- Have the ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 50 pounds etc.)
- Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus
- Communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safety rules
Qualifications/Requirements
- Must be able to follow instructions and to work independently
- Previous shipping/receiving experience
- Attention to detail
- Basic computer skills are helpful – will train on various programs needed for this job
- Forklift experience preferred

Salary : $19 - $22
