Job Description : We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team for weekly solo runs. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of Tractor / Trailer experience, with a focus on pulling 48-53ft trailers.
We are open to considering any relevant experience, as long as it meets this criterion.
Responsibilities :
- Operate and maintain company-owned trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
- Transport goods from one location to another on scheduled routes.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring the safety of yourself and others on the road.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any issues or concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and deliveries made.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise during transit.
- Ensure that all cargo is secured properly and in compliance with transportation guidelines.
Requirements :
- Minimum of 2 years of Tractor / Trailer experience, preferably with experience pulling 48-53ft trailers.
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent driving skills and a commitment to safety.
- Must be able to drive an average of 2500-3000 miles per week.
Compensation :
- Competitive pay rates ranging from $0.48 to $0.50 cents per mile, depending on experience and safety record.
- Weekly pay schedule.
- Opportunity for overtime pay as needed.
