As a Front-end developer on the Social Partners Team, you will work with some of the biggest social platforms in the world and their clients. In this highly collaborative environment, you will interface with Jebbit’s UX/UI designers, Product & Engineering teams, as well as our partners and their clients. As the lead front-end developer, you will be responsible for scoping projects and start to finish builds within the Jebbit platform. Our social partners bring new ideas to the table, so this role will require you to develop creative solutions for how to implement entirely custom builds within the Jebbit platform. In working with our social partners, you will also have the opportunity to work with their product and engineering teams to maintain, update, and create new solutions using their partner API. Success in this role will require strategic thinking, willingness to get your hands dirty and a love for the quick pace and varied priorities that make startup life such a compelling adventure.
Job description
- Scope services with Jebbit Partnerships team to provide an accurate projection of project needs, feasibility & timeline
- Interpret briefs, respond with fresh ideas, and work well under pressure, quickly develop fully responsive web-pages.
- Produce end-to-end wireframes from low-fi to high-fi (presentation-worthy)
- Independently deliver exceptional designs resulting in a superior customer experiences that drives demand from our current partners,
- Project manage and work with internal teammates to deliver technical services
- Help in evolving our internal ways of working and processes
- Independently ensure deliverables meet stakeholder expectations, including adherence to established timelines and budgets, and alignment with Legal promotional assets, and product creative (i.e. email, social, web, and packaging).
- You are an experienced team leader who will help provide guidance and actionable feedback in a clear, professional, and motivating manner.
Related Work Experience
- 3-5 years in high-paced agency environment
- Experience working with a variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience managing digital workflows
- Proven track record of working independently within cross-functional teams
Critical Competencies and Skills
- Expert knowledge of front end languages (HTML / CSS / JS)
- Knowledge of project management software (JIRA, Hive, Asana, Trello or equivalent)
- Familiar with Adobe creative suite software (Adobe Photoshop)
- Ability to work independently and thrive in an environment of continual change
- Highly effective communication skills, including the ability to facilitate communication, build consensus among team members, and make decisions confidently
- Ability to partner effectively with a diverse team located in global locations and time zones
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to multi-task and effectively balance short-term and long-term priorities, making appropriate calls on prioritization
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organization skills: self-organizing, self-motivating attention to detail, and ability to manage many projects simultaneously
- Ability to respond confidently to conflicts and manage situations in a positive way, proactively escalating on-going issues to manager
- Adaptability and resilience to thrive amidst the frequent changes of a startup
Compensation & Benefits:
Jebbit offers a competitive compensation package commensurate with anticipated duties and responsibilities.
