This position will be co-located at a pediatric medical practice in Aurora, CO. You will provide behavioral health assessments and mental health treatment to children and families who are patients of the pediatric practice (ages birth to 24). You will also be coordinating services with the practice providers and providing other referrals for the practice's patients and families as needed.
We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, exceptional clinical skills, and the ability to work within a trusted environment with other providers.
The position is eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program. CAC/LAC supervisory hours are available. A hybrid remote/in-person option is available.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties:
- Provide superb clinical care to individuals and families utilizing a whole person approach.
- Coordinate care across providers in an integrated setting.
- Work effectively and collaboratively with primary care medical providers while delivering behavioral health treatment.
- Establish a practice that is both challenging and rewarding.
- Maintain strong relationships with the medical providers.
- Work constructively and positively with individuals to reach agreed upon positive outcomes
- Provide goal setting and monitoring of achieved clinical outcome with clients
- Collaborate as needed with other Jefferson Center programs.
- Participate in a Jefferson Center clinical team for support, supervision, and collaboration.
- Other direct practice duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education, Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
- Must have a master’s degree and working towards licensure (working towards LMFT, LCSW, LPC) Licensure supervision will be provided.
- Bilingual - Fluent in Spanish and English required. Language proficiency level will be determined by an English and Spanish language testing at Jefferson Center.
- Proven excellence in clinical work and in administrative tasks required to support clinical work.
- Well- organized, self-directing, and experienced as a generalist clinician.
- Experience coordinating complex care across various agencies in order to serve clients with multiple areas of need (e.g., health, mental health, substance use, domestic violence, social service needs, educational, housing, etc.)
- Possess working understanding of the concepts of Healthcare Equity, Health Disparities and Cultural Relevance and of their impact on service planning, service coordination and service provision
- Possess awareness of the relationship between social indicators (such as immigration history, racism, access barriers, poverty, residency status, etc.) and biopsychosocial functioning
- Possess working understanding of the impact of trauma on consumers’ lives and functioning and possess facility with trauma-sensitive/trauma-informed approaches
- Knowledge of Strength-based, Recovery/Resiliency-oriented, Wellness-enhancing treatment approaches
Salary & Benefits
**BILINGUAL DIFFERENTIAL: Candidates who pass Spanish/English proficiency assesment will receive 10% pay differential.** Grade 51-Master’s Unlicensed Clinician- $45,000 to $57,200**

**BONUS OPPORTUNITY!! Three phase bonus paid out using the following schedule. ** Based on full time (40 hours/week). Prorate if less than 40 hours/week. Must work a minimum of 20 hours/week to be eligible for bonus.
