AFTERNOON SHIFT SUPERVISOR Job Details:

• Supervises, monitors, assists and holds accountable to policy and procedures the direct support professionals of Shaffer Plaza. Meets with supervisors regularly to coordinate the day to day operations of Shaffer Plaza. Facilitates teamwork between all team members via open communication, sharing of responsibilities, and a constructive attitude.
• Coaches and gives direction to all staff, offers on-going training to ensure that staff can provide high quality services to all residents. Issues discipline as necessary and recommend suspension, and termination as necessary.
• Assists, consults with, and gives direction to staff regarding day to day activities in the homes.
• Attends and participates in conferences, meetings, workshops, and seminars.
• Assists in the development/implementation of resident ISP outcomes.
• Maintains open lines of communication with residents, parents, guardians, and staff.
• Provides health assistance to residents as needed.
• Transports residents to dental/medical appointments as needed.
