What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food and Nutrition Aide position at Jefferson Health?
The Food & Nutrition Service Aide is responsible for working designated cafeteria and tray-line positions, cleaning and sanitizing dishes, trays utensils and equipment. The Nutrition Service Aide is responsible for accurate tray delivery to patients and collection of used trays. The Nutrition Service aide is responsible for cleaning work areas and or other duties assigned by the Supervisor. The food and Nutrition Service aide assists in striving for the highest customer satisfaction levels by achieving department goals to meet the Hospital Mission.
Experience:
- Previous food service experience helpful but not required.
Education & Training:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Other Requirements:
- Good communication skills.
- Customer service skills.
- Attention to details.
Conditions of Employment
Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson for employees working at Jefferson’s clinical entities or at the University.
