We are actively seeking a Coordinator to join our Die Maintenance team on 1st shift (core schedule, Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm)
Position Description:
- Plans and directs Die Maintenance task work.
- Direct, debug, repair, maintain and implement design changes to dies.
- Train and mentor Die Technicians to increase production outputs as a continuous Improvement Activity
- Responsible for production locations at plant 1 and plant 2
- Provide expertise, direction and assistance as required in resolving tooling related problems.
- Assists and evaluates die set-up as needed and countermeasure any problems with Press operation and material
feeds as related to dies. - Implement current best practices to manage and build a high-performance team.
- Thrive in a fast paced and dynamic work environment.
- Keep and maintain accurate Die Maintenance records.
- Collecting and looking through data to find places of waste and/or places of improvement.
- Track and monitor associates safety and plant safety.
- Ensure Process and Die Quality in production with minimum maintenance requirement. Communicate with other
departments to assure smooth operation.
- Other duties may be assigned.
