Treasury Consultant

Our client, a Global Chemical Manufacturer based in Akron, OH is seeking a Treasury Consultant to join their team for a 3-month Contract Engagement.

We need an experienced Treasury Manager to fulfill the day-to-day responsibilities for what the client describes as an "Operational Treasury" role : a person who has been in treasury in the past in both the operational side / details (do daily cash / interaction with accounting) and the higher level side (liquidity planning.

The ideal would be someone with 10-12 years treasury experience as a Manager of Treasury or Assistant Treasurer with an Operational focus.

This projectcan be done on a hybrid basis (some on-site work, but mostly remote for anyone who is too far from Akron to commute on a regular basis.)

What's Needed?

• BA / BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• 10-12years of experience as a Manager of Treasury or Assistant Treasurer with an Operational focus.
• Experience with liquidity, cash management and cash forecasting.
• Experience with SAP (or similar ERP system.)
• Compliance, ethics and internal control mindset.
• Must have excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
