POSITION SUMMARY:
Accountant
- Accounts Payable
- Bank Reconciliations
- Payroll Processing
- Benefit Payments and Reconciliations
- Credit Cards
- Prepaid Expenses
- Adjusting Journal Entries
- Other Duties as Assigned.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience
Computer knowledge required to perform duties:
- Must have high proficiency in MS Excel.
Additional Requirements:
- Strong background in GAAP accounting / general ledger support
- Strong organizational, problem solving, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a time-sensitive and sometimes unstructured environment.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to research, analyze and determine responses to complex questions and problems.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- High comfort level with automated accounting systems
