Vice President of Digital

JEGS Automotive is the World’s Leading multi-channel retailer delivering high-performance auto parts to our valued customers for over 62 years. JEGS is searching for a VP of Digital to oversee Web Application Development, Web DevOps, Product Management, Site Merchandising, Web Analytics and SEO. The position is responsible for delivering a Best-In-Class digital experience through a data-driven approach focusing on Conversion Rate Optimization, Technology & Innovation, and SEO Traffic Generation (among others).

Scope of Responsibilities Includes:

• 
  Leading a talented team of Technologists, Analysts, and SEOs to deliver first-class digital strategies, experiences and analytics for our website.
• Utilize a hands-on approach with overall responsibility of managing the day-to-day execution of all aspects of our web development services with insight into SEO, website development, optimization, tracking, custom reporting, and more.
• Manage/Lead our development team in the execution of digital experiences from inception to deployment.
• Utilize DevOps tools to help our developers manage complex functions, scale effectively and produce quality at a high velocity.
• Lead our Product Management resources to develop a Best-In-Class User Experience.
• Define product marketing communication and site Merchandising objectives, comparing our products to competitor’s and providing management with analyses and reports to determine the needs and desires of our customers.
• Develop a best-in-class Web Analytics process and tools to successfully measure the health and performance of our website and campaign impact on Google Analytics, etc.
• Monitor site traffic and investigate anomalies.
• Measure ROI and KPIs.
• Manage budgets, proposals, costs and timing to drive overall company and project profitability.
• Effectively manages concurrent Digital Team projects in a time-sensitive work environment providing prioritization, developing the roadmap, planning resources, and ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Helps analyze and recommend improvements for software architecture, web technologies, and web security.
• Lead update meetings with Executive Team and Board of Directors.
• Build a diverse team and a winning culture that encourages innovation, collaboration and teamwork.
• Establish motivating stretch objectives for team members that align with company objectives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in digital marketing or related discipline; MBA preferred.
• 10 years of in delivering best-in-class digital solutions.
• Experience managing technical teams through the software development lifecycle.
• Expertise in scoping and architecting technical solutions.
• Proven collaboration skills and experience working with other departments and leaders.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, including presentation skills.
• Auto parts knowledge either professionally or as a personal passion is preferred.
