The most successful applicants will bring strong communication skills, knowledge of South Florida horticulture and safe installation practices, a professional appearance, and a strong sense of self-direction. 

Necessary Skills:

  • Plant knowledge
  • Lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds
  • Reaching, pushing, pulling, walking, kneeling, bending, stooping
  • Work outside in various weather conditions 
Preferred Skills:
  • Ability to drive truck with trailer
Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate sites prior to installation for potential hazards or issues that may pose a safety threat.
  • Load and unload equipment from trailers and trucks
  • Commence installations in a neat, orderly, and safe fashion observing correct horticulture standards, practices, and principles.
  • Assist with projects related to landscape maintenance (may include mowing, weeding, tree moving, grading, refurbishment, mulching, etc.)
