We are seeking a Farmers Insurance Producer to join our team! You will be responsible for expanding the company's book of business by selling various types of insurance policies to new and existing clients. Must be hold insurance licenses for Alabama.

Responsibilities:

  • Present and sell insurance policies to new and existing clients
  • Develop and calculate suitable plans based on clients' needs
  • Resolve client inquiries and complaints
  • Expand business reach through networking techniques
  • Comply with insurance standards and regulations
  • Track and identify areas of improvement

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with Farmers Insurance is desired, other Insurance sales considered.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask

Opportunity:

Duties are to run Farmers Insurance Jennings Agency in the daily operations, Promoting Farmers Insurance and supporting Farmers companies in an ethical manner. You receive one week vacation after 1 year of service. This is a launching position for your career. As you learn Farmer's Insurance you can stay and receive your compounding commissions or we can set you on the path to start your own office. The choice is yours. Base pay $2,500 per month Commission Structure 40% of commissions received from your sales to Jennings Agency Farmers Insurance is paid to you on top of your base, every month. Renewal Commission 40% of renewal commissions from your sales. Sale Example Home $1,600 x .14% =$224.00 Auto $1300x .09% = $117.00 Bike/Boat/Camper=$600.00 x .15%=$90.00 Life Insurance=$1,000.00 x.5 =$500.00 once a month.. Total=$931.00 Your commission =$931.00 x .40% =$372.40 off this household. Auto renews every 6 months usually with Farmers.

Renewal Home $1,600 x .10% =$160.00 Auto $1300x .09% = $117.00 Bike/Boat/Camper=$600.00 x .15%=$90.00 Life we get 1 payout only from sale. Total=$367.00 to company =$367.00 x.40%=$146.80 I average 10 households per month. You very well could do more. =$3,724 in commission per month, year one by this example . Say you only did two life policies per month. =$2,124.00 in commission per month, year one by this example. If you did no life insurance sales it would be $1,724 in commission. Our goal is 2 per month, but at least 1 life.

All of the following will be ran based on 2-Life policies at $1,000 per year per month.

Year 2. $2,124.00 Sales Commission $1468.00 Renewal Commission Total commission $3,592.00 $2,500.00 base =$6092.00 Monthly Pay with base, commission and renewals.

Year 3 $2,124.00 Sales Commission $1468.00 Renewal Commission $1468.00 Renewal Commission Total commission =$5,060.00 Base $2,500 =$7,560.00 Monthly Pay with base, commission and renewals. By the end of the 3rd year you could be making $100,000 per year if you follow this schedule, which is modest. The cars renew every 6 months and I did not figure in the 2nd renewal in the year.

This is likely $135,000 per year! Remember that the 2nd renewal of autos isn’t factored in any of the examples. I wanted to make sure you understand these are realistic numbers. I have not included any business sales or any crazy premium examples. I am no oracle, this is based this off what I do. This isn’t killing myself, just staying steady. Obviously some customers may fall off along the way, many sales will be much larger. I have had people try to sell me a pipe dream before on unrealistic numbers. This is conservative. The variable is what you put into it. Fill your pipe line and just work it and it happens. No rocket science.

This Is our hybrid model, basically allows you to have an insurance agency within our agency. We value professional insurance agents and we hope you take care of us, our customers and in return you are able to take great care of your family. Keep in mind that if our customer has home, auto, and something else such as life, motorcycle, boat, camper, umbrella, or business, our average customer with 3 lines of business is 12 years. If you leave, commission rights remain with the company. This is not a crazy or far-fetched example. These are average sales ran over the 5 year example. Business policies currently pay out at 15% and you would get 40% of the payout and none were illustrated in these examples. Occasionally someone will quit before their term. That would be factored on a prorated basis. Our pay days are 5th and 20th. Commissions are paid on the 20th. We allow you flexibility. If your kids have a school function, we want you to go and see it. It’s our desire that you have a great life and are able to enjoy it to the fullest and pass out some cards.
