JENNMAR Services is currently seeking a Maintenance Planner in the Baltimore, MD and surrounding areas.
Job Responsibilities of the Maintenance Planner:
The role of the Maintenance Worker is to improve work force productivity and quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays. This will be done through the planning and coordination of labor, parts and material and equipment access.
Job Requirements for the Maintenance Planner:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
- Minimum (2) Years of Maintenance/Preparation Plant Experience
- Microsoft Word and Excel Experience
- Comply with all site safety and environmental policies.
- Planning and Scheduling Experience Required
- Screen all notifications, except emergency notifications, in assigned area of responsibility to see that the notification accurately defines the scope of work.
- Meets the criteria for the assigned priority, and is a valid request for work to be performed by maintenance personnel and financed by the applicable maintenance expense budget.
- The planner converts notifications into maintenance orders (MO) and creates a maintenance work plan. As needed, the planner secures additional information prior to converting the notification into a maintenance order.
- Create detailed job plans for all MOs in area of responsibility, except emergency MOs. Detailed job plans could include: field walk down or evaluation; manpower estimates by craft to support best practice scheduling and note any applicable safety regulations/concerns.
- Create a job package that goes to the field for use by the appropriate maintenance personnel.
- Maintain a planned backlog for assigned crews in the areas of responsibility .
- Maintain planned backlog in area of responsibility by priority. Produce or assist in creation of schedules for Mini-Outages.
- Provide materials, tools, services and equipment through requisitioning, storehouse stock, purchasing cards or rentals (for non-emergency work only).
- Communicate with maintenance, operations, vendors and manufacturers; facilitate expedition of materials and services for non-emergency work per planning directives.
- Following execution of the work, certain critical information is recorded for future reference.
- Previous plant experience is preferred

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
