Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Field Construction Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about construction management, possess strong leadership and communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Parking Lot Logistics: Coordinate parking arrangements for construction crews and equipment to optimize efficiency and safety.
Ensuring Appropriate Work Environment: Oversee site conditions to ensure a safe and productive work environment for all team members.
Logging Daily Activities: Maintain detailed records of daily activities, including progress updates, issues encountered, and resolutions implemented.
Keeping Good Morale on Jobsite: Foster a positive and collaborative atmosphere among team members to promote productivity and job satisfaction.
Interacting with Subcontractors: Communicate effectively with subcontractors to coordinate tasks, resolve conflicts, and ensure compliance with project specifications.
Checking and Following Schedule of Activities: Monitor project timelines and milestones, adjusting schedules as needed to meet deadlines and quality standards.
Flexibility on Daily Hours: Demonstrate flexibility in working hours to accommodate project needs and deadlines.
Requirements:
Minimum of High School Diploma.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry.
Term:
6-9 Month Temp Job
6:00am – 2:30pm
Salary:
Commensurate with Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
OSHA certification or other relevant safety training.
