Job Description: As a Service Advisor at Jerry & Son Auto Service, you will be the primary point of contact for our valued customers seeking automotive services. Your role will be crucial in ensuring a seamless and satisfying experience for each customer. You will work closely with our service technicians, providing accurate information and recommendations regarding vehicle maintenance and repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and listen to their vehicle-related concerns and requests.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and document customer concerns.
- Provide clear and detailed explanations of recommended repairs and maintenance services.
- Generate accurate estimates for labor and parts costs.
- Coordinate with the service department to schedule repairs and maintenance.
- Maintain open communication with customers throughout the service process.
- Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicles and any necessary updates.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and empathy.
- Ensure all service records and documentation are accurately maintained.
- Uphold the highest standards of customer service and satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor in the automotive industry is preferred but not required.
- Sales experience necessary.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of automotive systems and repairs is a plus.
- Proficiency in computer systems and software for service scheduling and documentation.
- A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional automotive training or certification is a plus.
- Fluent in Spanish is a huge plus.
