The Clinical Documentation Specialist is responsible for ensuring all clinical documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with regulatory guidelines for our PN and RN programs. The Clinical Documentation Specialist will actively promote the mission, policies, and procedures of the institution while maintaining accurate records with each clinical facility. The primary responsibilities of the Clinical Documentation Specialist include but are not limited to, collecting, reviewing, and auditing preceptor and clinical documents, auditing and verifying medical documentation of students, and executing clinical site confirmations/attestations with respect to the placement of students. The Clinical Documentation Specialist will work collaboratively with the clinical relations coordinator, faculty, program chairs, and administration to maintain the affiliation with clinical facilities.
