Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Monitor network performance and security, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize network operations.
- Collaborate with IT managers, system administrators, and other teams to design and implement network policies and procedures.
- Perform network upgrades, installations, and migrations as needed.
- Implement and maintain network security measures, including access controls, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Conduct network audits and assessments to ensure compliance with security standards and protocols.
- Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4 years of experience in network administration.
- Proficiency in [Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, or other relevant networking technologies].
- Strong understanding of network administration principles and best practices.
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, Cisco Prime).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proven track record of maintaining stable and secure network operations.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
