As an Accounting Specialist in the aircraft management operation of Jet Aviation you will primarily be responsible for supporting our managed aircraft clients. This is a hybrid role out of our West Palm Beach, FL location.
Main Responsibilities:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-4 years of accounting experience or relevant education
- Able to meet deadlines and demonstrate effective follow-up on assigned tasks
- Must be knowledgeable and proficient in Excel to create and maintain various schedules/reports
- Must have experience in Microsoft Office, and Word to produce emails and professional letters
- Operational knowledge of Outlook is required
- Must be accurate and proficient in data entry
- Must be able to read, and communicate in English
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, and percentages
Minimum Requirements:
- Track, code, redact, prepare, and collate invoices and billing packages
- Resolve and document Concur errors and receipts for monthly statements
- Reconcile trip sheet details and verify trip tracking
- Run reports and provide paperwork (i.e., MOT/VAT) as needed
- Provide billing package data to clients via client portal
- Support accounting activities and client accounting requests as needed
- Conducts or assists in the documentation of accounting projects
- Prepare ad-hoc reports as requested
- Other duties may be assigned, as needed

- Accounting relevant education preferred

- Autonomous, well organized, detail oriented, and accurate
- Able to work under pressure and multitask ensuring the results are of highest quality and accuracy
- Able to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives
- Familiar with aviation terminologies and flight system
- Experience overseeing preparation of financial reports
- Intuitive and thinks outside-of-the-box to provide feedback and suggestions to improve processes and efficiencies

Occasional fuel fumes may permeate the workplace. Employee must be willing and able to work in all types of weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The Hangar environment may be extreme hot and cold during certain seasons of the year.
