Contracted Dentist Extraction/Jail Setting

We have the opportunity to serve nine correctional facilities in Georgia (McRae-Helena, Abbeville, Hawkinsville, Davisboro, Morgan Co, Valdosta, Glennville, Unadilla and Mt Vernon) that are in need of extractions and fillings for a large portion of their inmates. This facility has the equipment on hand, the chairs and an on staff Dental Assistant. This would be available to be completed Monday - Thursday at the Dentist's flexibility or availability. The time commitment is dependent upon the provider as we are looking to collaborate with multiple Dentists to work as often and as consistently as possible to provide care on as many days of the week as possible. This is a very flexible contract. We are looking for a commitment of at the least 4-6 weeks. This is a great way to have some supplemental income in your downtime from a traditional office.

EXPERIENCE:

• General Dentistry
• Excellent positive attitude and customer service skills
• Experience in a professional environment with direct patient contact preferred
• Ability to multi-task and remain calm in a rapidly changing environment

CERTIFICATE/LICENSE/REGISTRATION:

• Willingness to complete background check for correctional facility
• Willingness to do online security training per correctional facility policy
• Licensed to practice dentistry in the state of employment
• Personal liability insurance coverage of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 in aggregate
• Current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) (Preferred)
• Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training
• All Certifications and Licenses required for this job must be kept current as a condition of continued employment.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Personal transportation
• Compliance with all health & safety regulations and state dental practice requirements.

Job Types: Contract typically $1500-$2000 daily. Pay is flexible.

• 8 hour shift (15-35 patients per day on average depending on the need)
