What are the responsibilities and job description for the Temporary General Dentist position at Jet Dental?
This job is a 1-2 day temporary opening for staffing an on site event at the Gun Lake Trive Casino on December 14th, 2022.
Who is Jet Dental?
We are a mobile, on-site dental provider for corporations nationwide. We improve the health of our client’s employees by bringing the dentist to their workplace at no cost to them — we simply bill the dental insurance they already have! We provide preventative and restorative care including cleanings, X-Rays, exams, fillings, and teeth whitening on-site. With proper treatment planning, we can improve your health, while providing a more confident smile at the same time. We serve some of the top employers in the country including Shutterfly, PetSmart, GE Healthcare, Marriott Hotels, and more.
STARTING PAY:
- Base Pay: $400 base rate plus commission; in total you’ll typically make $900-$1200 per day
- Commission pay: $10 for each exam, 50% net production on any fillings and 25% net production on any cleanings you do personally
EXPERIENCE:
- General Dentistry
- Excellent positive attitude and customer service skills
- Experience in a professional environment with direct patient contact preferred
- Ability to multi-task and remain calm in a rapidly changing environment
CERTIFICATE/LICENSE/REGISTRATION:
- Licensed to practice dentistry in the state of employment
- Personal liability insurance coverage of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence and $3,000,000 in aggregate
- Current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) (Preferred)
- Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training
- All Certifications and Licenses required for this job must be kept current as a condition of continued employment.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Personal transportation
- Compliance with all health & safety regulations and state dental practice requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the clinical staff at each event worked
- Complete patient exams
- Educate the patients
- Fillings
- Complete various cleanings, as needed.
