JW Holland Wellness is a functional medical clinic located close to Utica Square that is devoted to serving our amazing patients. We are continuously looking to add valuable candidates to our team. As the Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in the patient experience. The Medical Assistant is a licensed professional who works closely with our medical provider to achieve the best practice, medical documentation, and patient care.


Responsibilities:

  • Meets the patient's goals and needs and provides quality care by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results.
  • Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks


Job Duties:

  • Obtaining vitals
  • Rooming patients
  • Medical terminology
  • Medical history
  • Drawing labs
  • EMR System Knowledge
  • Patient balance assessments
  • Faxing for patient pharmacy needs
  • Obtaining and scanning lab results
  • Answering Phone calls
  • Scheduling
  • Assisting Providers in procedures
  • Prepping and cleaning rooms
  • Auto Clave cleaning
  • Checking company email
