Position Summary
The Aircraft Compliance team assists in ensuring the airworthiness of JetBlue’s fleet by tracking and auditing maintenance performed on critical parts of the aircraft such as engines, landing gears, and Auxiliary Power Units (APUs). The Analyst, Aircraft Compliance supports the Supervisor in the areas of Maintenance & Engineering (M&E) system compliance, aircraft deliveries, investigations, and life limited asset build up and serves as a liaison between JetBlue and critical airline parts business partners.
Essential Responsibilities
The Aircraft Compliance team assists in ensuring the airworthiness of JetBlue’s fleet by tracking and auditing maintenance performed on critical parts of the aircraft such as engines, landing gears, and Auxiliary Power Units (APUs). The Analyst, Aircraft Compliance supports the Supervisor in the areas of Maintenance & Engineering (M&E) system compliance, aircraft deliveries, investigations, and life limited asset build up and serves as a liaison between JetBlue and critical airline parts business partners.
Essential Responsibilities
- Build inventories of new aircraft and major aircraft assemblies in JetBlue systems
- Gather, review and analyze data for maintenance completed on engines, APUs, and landing gear
- Manage aircraft and associated components time (hours/cycles) in TRAX as required
- Generate reports and analyze aircraft flight times (hours/cycles) in the Sabre/TRAX interface as required
- Manage life limited components’ electronic history and back to birth records as required
- Maintain accurate electronic and technical documents for aircraft and aircraft life limited components
- Assist Supervisor Aircraft Compliance in investigations when needed
- Identify patterns and trends to improve current team responsibilities
- Utilize knowledge of parts and sub-assemblies to accurately troubleshoot and resolve operational issues
- Additional administrative tasks and duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma
- One (1) year of Receiving Inspection or similar experience
- Familiarity with aircraft manuals and basic technical aircraft systems
- Possess and maintain a valid Driver License and a driving record that meets JetBlue Airways’ insurance standards
- Must be able to acquire and maintain a valid Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Badge
- Depending on location, may need to acquire and maintain a United States Customs Clearance
- Available for occasional overnight travel (25%)
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
- Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Maintenance Management
- Two (2) years of Aircraft Compliance experience or equivalent
- Working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR’s)
- Airline Material Operations experience
- Familiarity with aircraft terminology and understanding of technical 14 CFR 121 operations
- Knowledge of aircraft maintenance programs, Air Transportation Associations (ATA), Airworthiness Directives and Technical Directives
- Familiarity with Airline M&E Systems such as TRAX
- Regular attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work flexible hours and shifts and be available to respond on short-notice
- Able to maintain a professional appearance
- When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

- Responsible for adhering to all applicable laws, regulations (FAA, OSHA, DOT, etc.) and Company policies, procedures and risk controls

- The base pay range for this position is between $50,000.00 and $89,600.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue’s total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
