Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve deli items such as sandwiches, salads, and soups
- Ensure food safety and proper handling of ingredients
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their orders and answering any questions they may have
- Operate the Aloha POS system to process customer transactions accurately
- Follow recipes and portion sizes to maintain consistency in food quality
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of deli items
Experience:
- Previous experience in a deli or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper hygiene practices
Skills:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful manner
- Retail math skills for calculating prices, discounts, and sales totals
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with customers and team members
