JOB TITLE: Digital/Web Developer
REPORTS TO: Director of Marketing and Communications
OVERVIEW: The Digital/Web Developer works with the Marketing staff to develop and maintain online communication that enriches and enhances the Dallas JCC brand while increasing program engagement amongst our members and community. The Digital/Web Developer is responsible for implementing and maintaining the JCC’s digital presence. The Digital/Web Developer will manage JCC marketing software and digital systems in conjunction with the JCC’s IT department. In addition, the Digital/Web Developer is responsible for website functionality, digital technology, and content consistency across all JCC online engagement platforms.
The ideal candidate should be up to date with trends, a strong understanding of digital marketing, website, and digital metrics. The candidate should have experience with current marketing tools and strategies and collaboratively execute integrated digital marketing campaigns.
Essential Job Functions:
- Build, engage and retain the Dallas JCC community through a digital presence online and throughout the facility.
- Implement digital marketing strategies on our digital displays, and website.
- Work closely with our Digital Marketing Specialist to execute marketing campaigns across social media channels.
- Measure and report on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with the JCC Marketing team to develop dynamic video and photo strategies that engage audiences and tell our JCC narrative.
- Communicate the J’s brand story through impactful digital marketing.
- Understand technology trends in the field and implement best practices to ensure the JCC incorporates top technology serving the needs of our departments and members.
- Optimize internet presence with the Marketing team by strengthening audience engagement.
- Manage web/digital presence to serve the Dallas JCC brand and member needs.
- Ensure content is appealing and dynamic with easy-to-access programs and registration. Ensure web/digital content drives relevant readership and is consistent across all platforms.
- Maintain various internal databases and works as a point of contact for updates
- Help optimize marketing campaigns and communication across the JCC through the website, digital displays, social media, email marketing, and third-party platforms.
- Analyze JCC software, website, and digital presence to make recommendations for improvement.
EDUCATION / REQUIREMENTS:
- B.A. or B.S. in marketing or appropriate equivalent preferred
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in marketing and/or communications
- Proven ability to manage the creation and production of a broad variety of materials on a diverse spectrum of subjects in an engaging and imaginative style
- Knowledge and ability to use WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery as well as other digital technologies
- Demonstrated examples of marketing initiatives aimed at a wide variety of audiences and market sectors and exceptional editing and proofreading skills, ability to work within established style guidelines
- Excellent verbal, written, and people skills
- Ability to manage multiple and concurrent projects on tight deadlines
- Photo and Video Editing
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign and Photoshop, iMovie, FinalCut Pro and After Effects.
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong Communication and project management skills
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $60,000.00 per year
