Job Skills / Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for processing payroll on a bi-weekly basis.
- Responsible for managing employee timesheets.
- Manage onboarding of new employees into iSolved payroll system.
- Coordinate criminal background checks and drug screen testing.
- Create and maintain employee personnel records.
- Ensure receipt of completed and accurate new hire documentation.
- Train and assist new hires on timekeeping procedure.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Skills and Work Environment:
- Office environment; must be able to be present in the office.
- Able to operate a computer and other office productivity, such as telephone, copy machine and printer.
- Able to communicate with others and exchange accurate information.
- Able to move supplies or equipment weighing up to 20 pounds as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent with at least 2 years of experience in payroll processing.
- Knowledge of computer software, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Knowledge with MIP/ accounting software
- Knowledgeable with use of web-based payroll platform (knowledge of Dominion/iSolved a plus).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Able to adapt and be flexible as the organization requires.
