Financial Assistance Processor

The Temporary Emergency Financial Assistance Application Processor, processes emergency financial assistance applications in an efficient manner within extremely tight deadlines. This position supports, promotes and furthers our goal of providing the highest standards of culturally relevant and sensitive professional service consistent with our mission.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reviews financial assistance applications and acquires necessary documentation
• Determines if all eligibility requirements have been met.
• Ensures that clients’ needs are met during process and being responsive.
• Prepares documentation necessary for financial assistance approval
• Verifies that application package is accurate and complete; forwards application on to next step.
• Contacts applicants regarding the decision based on their application.
• Records information in database system to track outcomes and assists with intake log for financial assistance requests.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma required
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel a must
• Demonstrated ability to pay strong attention to detail, to focus on the task at hand, to self-manage daily responsibilities and to meet deadlines
• Ability to be productive despite changing work demands
• Must have a working updated computer with video and audio capabilities and in addition has reliable internet service
• Bilingual, English and Spanish preferred
