What are the responsibilities and job description for the In Home Housekeeper position at Jewish Senior Life?
Pay Range: $15.60-$18.58 (Pay information will vary depending upon relevant experience for the position)
Per Diem opportunities available.
GENERAL SCOPE: Clean and maintain client’s private homes.
EDUCATION / QUALIFICATION: Experience in Housekeeping, valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle. Must pass background check, physical and PPD.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Sweep, scrub and mop floors.
- Vacuum clean carpets.
- Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
- Empty and clean trash containers.
- Dispose of trash.
- Clean wash toilets, mirrors, tubs, showers, countertops, stoves/ovens, dishes and fridge.
- Make up beds and change linen as required.
- All other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE: Must have experience in housekeeping, knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques, and methods.
