What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accountant position at JFC Global?

Our client in York is searching for an Accountant to join their team! Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Accountant will handle a variety of day to day general accounting tasks.

This company has experienced tremendous growth over the last few years. They offer flexible hours and the ability to work remotely up to four day per week after training. Accountant Responsibilities:

Complete cash account reconciliations and bank statement reconciliations
Annual budget preparation
Oversee general ledger accounts
File sales tax returns
Prepare financial statements and provide to leadership team
Verify credit card transactions and monitor cash balances

Accountant Qualifications:

HS Diploma required
2 or 4 -year degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field preferred
2 years of general accounting and bookkeeping experience required
QuickBooks experience preferred

Salary $45-53K based on experience. This is a permanent position that will start off through JFC during the probationary period.
