Director of Operations
Responsibilities:
1. Back Office Operations Management:
- Oversee and optimize contract management, facility security, IT support, logistics, operations, and customer service.
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices for smooth and efficient operations.
- Align back-office functions with strategic goals, monitor KPIs, and drive operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and requirements for government contracting activities.
2. Process and Systems Integration:
- Integrate processes and systems to enhance operational efficiency, automation, and standardization.
- Implement and manage CRM (Salesforce), and cloud-based productivity suites (ex. Microsoft 365).
- Drive adoption of technology tools and platforms to improve collaboration and productivity.
3. Team Leadership and Development:
- Provide strong leadership, assign responsibilities, and mentor team members for high-quality deliverables.
- Foster a culture of operational excellence, innovation, and continuous process improvement.
4. Leadership Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, executive leadership, and external stakeholders.
- Provide strategic input and recommendations on operational matters.
- Liaise with vendors, clients, and regulatory bodies for successful collaboration and compliance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, financial management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 10 Years of experience managing back-office operations in the federal contracting industry, including knowledge of federal acquisition regulations, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and the FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS).
- Strong expertise in integrating processes and systems, with hands-on experience in implementing CRM (Salesforce), and cloud-based productivity suites (ex. Microsoft 365).
- Solid understanding of relevant regulations and standards related to contracts, facility security, IT, and operations.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve operational excellence.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
