We are looking for a Financial Analyst to support the Sales & Marketing OPEX and strategy objectives. The candidate will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting and analyzing his/her business units, including preparation and management of the annual plan, quarterly financial forecasts and long-term strategic plan. The position will have a significant influence on business decisions and drive organizational priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The Financial Analyst will play a key role in developing the operating rhythm for the company and help scale processes for company-wide financial reporting and planning. This position will report to the Sr Manager, Sales & Marketing Finance.
The role will require a strong aptitude to understand business strategy, manage executive relationships, develop a deep understanding of financial drivers, excellent presentation skills and a passion to learn and build best of class processes.
As a Financial Analyst in JFrog you will...
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports - analyzing operating and financial results, distilling key trends, assessing current and future business risk, and communicating key messages to senior management
- Initiate proactive business dialogue and challenge assumptions to ensure sound financial decisions and improve business performance
- Coordinate Operational Communications across Sales, Marketing, and department managers to ensure alignment towards a core set of strategies and metrics
- Partner with the relevant departments managers to ensure effective planning and execution of budget
- Analyze results of marketing programs and make recommendations for improvement
- Develop ad hoc and customized reports for sales & marketing, and other departments as needed
- Present and communicate findings from data and analyses to department managers, executives, and sales teams
To be a Financial Analyst in JFrog you need...
- 4 years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
- Experience with building financial plans and forecasts with a good track record for accuracy
- Deep familiarity with MS Excel, Adaptive Planning or another planning tool
- Experience with Salesforce.com preferred, experience with NetSuite, Qlik/Tableau, SQL/Power Query/Power BI is a plus
- Working knowledge of US GAAP
- Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work across departments with varying levels of staff and management to solve problems and achieve results
