What are the responsibilities and job description for the Slicer position at Jimmy John's?
The slicers job duties include:
Arriving on time to consolidate meats from the previous night and audit what needs to be sliced for the day.
Slicing meats and cheese for the shop. (Ham, Turkey, Roast Beef, Capicola, Salami, and Provolone)
Making sure that items are weighed out correctly and efficiently.
Clean the slicer and station when done using.
Learn and pass the menu test to help in-shop if need be.
Help in-shop with daily duties during business hours.
Able to lift 30 pounds.
Slicer will also participate in the in-shop tip pool which is split between all workers every two weeks.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
