Looking for two (2) energic Retail Specialists to join our Snappy's team, day/2^nd shift and overnight shift.

As the Retail Specialist, you're the friendly face and first impression our Snappy's customers experience when they enter our stores! We are looking for reliable, friendly, and passionate retail specialists to join our team. We like to have fun at work while ensuring we deliver our legendary customer experience to all who enter.

Essential job functions include the following:

1. Consistently create a welcoming environment for the customer by greeting, assisting, and responding quickly to their inquiries and needs.
2. Ensure compliance with applicable age restricted product regulations such as tobacco and alcohol.
3. Complete customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
4. Keep all coolers, shelves, and displays stocked and fronted at all times with the correct merchandise.
5. Rotate and date all inventory on the floor and in the storage rooms.
6. Rotate stock in coolers so that the newest product is nearest you, and remove any stock that is out of date – move inventory from slower moving shelves to faster moving shelves to ensure all products are within their date range.
7. Maintain fountain drink equipment and ensure syrup boxes and Carbon Dioxide (CO₂) containers are cleaned and changed daily (if applicable).
8. Maintain the hot beverage area clean and stocked at all times; coffee, tea, hot chocolate, serving utensils, etc.
9. Maintain security:

• Be alert to shoplifting prevention procedures.
• Safeguard your cash register login (Point of Sale, POS), only one person can operate a cash register at a time with their assigned POS, no exceptions.
• Follow the correct vendor check in procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous experience within a retail/food service environment, preferred
• Good eye hand coordination in the performance of numerous tasks
• Must be 18 years of age or older
