Overview :

The Retail Operations Analyst provides on-going reporting of labor scheduling and other related scheduling metrics in order to enhance retail store productivity and customer service through increased efficiencies. The Retail Operations Analyst also responds to ad-hoc reporting requests specific to stores’ performance, while also supporting other store focused initiatives.

 


Responsibilities :
  • Creates exception reporting to support analysis of labor scheduling, forecasting, overtime, and FT/PT hours worked
  • Maintains data such as store operating hours and adjustments, promotional information, and store performance KPIs
  • Administers and troubleshoots issues in labor scheduling software system and acts as the liaison to the labor scheduling software vendor
  • Identifies process issues and recommends improvements
  • Assists in store sales and performance forecasting and similar activities
  • Tracks budgets and updates manuals and reference tools for labor management processes
  • Completes ad-hoc reporting requests specific to retail operations and stores’ performance
  • Provides insights and thought leadership into strategic initiatives pertinent to stores’ key performance indicatorsAssists with other store support projects as needed


Qualifications :

  • Analytical with strong problem solving abilities and creative resolution skills
  • Data driven influencing skills
  • Ability to remain organized, pay attention to detail and meet critical deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal skills with ability to interact effectivley with various skill set and leadership levels
  • Ability to work with cross functional partners to gain alignment and concensus with key stakeholders on project
  • Work well independently as well as effectively contribute to a team environment
  • Minimal travel required
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • 2+ years’ experience in an analyst role in a retail setting required
  • Labor Management systems experience preferred
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel required
  • Proficient use of other Microsoft office programs
