JK Findings is an industry leading designer and manufacturer of high-quality jewelry components,
renowned for our excellent customer service. We are actively seeking a motivated and enthusiastic candidate to join our Production team. This is an exciting opportunity where you will be challenged in your day today responsibilities and one where personal growth and your success is a shared priority! This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of several varieties of proprietary machines ensuring timely fulfillment of customer orders with a high quality jewelry findings. Summary of Responsibilities
Read production blueprints or job orders for product specification such as dimensions and tolerances, and tooling instructions.
Move controls to position tool and workpiece in relation to each other, and to set specified feeds, speeds, and depth of cut.
Observe and understand the operation of machine and verify quality of product as required.
Continually progress through the department to learn operation of all machines.
Make necessary adjustments when machine is not performing at the optimal level.
Reports machinery in need of repair or servicing to immediate supervisor.
Must pay continual attention to multiple running machines.
Perform initial and in-process quality checks of product
Inspects and sorts finished product.
Makes recommendations regarding process improvements, quality issues, and other department issues.
Maintains a high level of safety standards.
