Are you a federal Project Manager looking for an opportunity to lead projects from within the GovCon space? 


JLAN Solutions has a full-time opportunity for an  experienced Project Manager to join its Project Management Office in Washington, DC! You will be joining a small, woman-owned, government consulting firm and will be responsible for leading multiple federal projects, as well as the JLAN Solutions  incumbents working within the contracts. This position reports to the Senior Director of Operations. 


The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of Project Management experience, specifically with government projects, and has an understanding of SBA social-ecoomic setasides. 

 

This is a hybrid role and will require some in-office work on an as needed basis.


What you'll do: 


  • Oversee incumbents placed within federal projects
  • Manage project budgets, project schedules, and key performance indicators
  • Assists co-workers in writing and editing a wide range of documents such as contracts, proposals, etc.
  • Perform research on a variety of subjects for inclusion by management and staff in preparing key documents, and contributions to organizational policies and procedures
  • Interview and hire employees to work within the contracts 
  • Successfully apply recent Federal standards, laws, rules and regulations as it relates to Information Technology, data and security principals 
  • Coordinate several integrated business processes to ensure timely process of all requests 
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, etc. to all levels of management 
  • Track data, metrics, and status of activities to monitor efforts 


What you'll need to bring to the table:


  • Higher education degree in Business Administration or similar
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a Project Management role managing up to 5 projects simultaneously
  • Experience with people management (including time off, perf evals, etc.)  
  • 1 years experience within SBA social-economic setasides
  • Understanding of business development cycle 
  • PMP, CAPM, Certified Scrum Master or Agile certification 
  • 5 years of experience with Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, PowerPoint; and Adobe Acrobat Professional


SALARY: Negotiable depending on the level of experience and education levels. JLAN offers a complete benefits package with vision, health, dental, life insurance, and a 401k match.
