JOB SUMMARY: The main focus of the Branch Manager - WA is to oversee the day to day management of the region - ensuring sales, service and parts targets are achieved and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for leading the sales, service, parts and administration staff within the region Drive the business in alignment with Oshkosh Core Values and the JLG LIFT strategy - with a focus on developing our people first culture Ensure that sales and profit targets are met and/or exceeded Maintain and develop relationships with major accounts as well as retail customers and provide a superior level of customer service Manage branch to ensure sales/profit targets are achieved for all departments Monitor competitor’s activities and ensure competitiveness of JLG products and services Participate and assist in formulation of branch budgets Full responsibility for profit and loss Liaise with HR on all personnel matters including training, recruitment, migration, performance management and compliance with employment law Ensure Health Safety Environment and Quality systems are in place and the WA region is compliant Participate in Workplace Health and Safety committee meetings and ensure they are held regularly. Ensure compliance with all company policies, instructions and procedures, as well as statutory requirements. Maintain the Baseplan CRM customer and quoting modules Compile reports as required Regular travel throughout the WA region General ad-hoc duties as required MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Previous experience in a similar role – a proven track record managing an operation that has a service, sales, parts and administrative departments. Strong leadership skills – the ability to positively influence their team Experience developing and working towards budgets. Experience with P & L Strong commercial acumen and a background in business development and key account management Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbal Ability to establish rapport with internal and external customers Drivers licence
