What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Manager position at JLL?

As a Facility Manager, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the technical infrastructure of our clients' properties to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency. You will oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and repairs of various building systems and equipment, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and security systems. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the smooth operation of facilities, managing service providers, and coordinating preventive maintenance programs.
Responsibilities:
Manage the overall operation and maintenance of technical building systems to ensure functionality, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for all technical equipment and systems within the properties.
Oversee and coordinate the work of external service providers, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely and quality completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
Monitor energy consumption and implement energy efficiency initiatives to optimize building performance and reduce operational costs.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential issues or areas of improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to technical systems, including fire safety and environmental regulations.
Manage emergency response procedures and protocols, including training and drills, to ensure the safety and well-being of building occupants.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including property owners, tenants, and external service providers.
Stay up to date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in facility management to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
Proven experience in facility management, specifically with a strong technical background.
In-depth knowledge of building systems and equipment, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and security systems.
Familiarity with industry regulations and codes, such as NFPA, ASHRAE, and OSHA.
Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities concurrently.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot technical issues and propose effective solutions.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders and lead a team.
Proficiency in computer-aided facility management (CAFM) software and other relevant technology tools.

Salary range $85,000 to $110,000
