What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Property Associate position at JLL?
JLL is seeking a Property Associate to join our Industrial Property Management team. As a Property Associate at JLL, you will provide administrative support to a team managing a large Industrial portfolio in the Columbus area. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, be organized and proactive, and is eager to enter the field of commercial property management.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Interacting with tenants via phone, email and in person to ensure properties are clean, functional and welcoming
Assist Property Managers in managing budgets, financial reporting, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable reconciliations
Manage Certificates of Insurance, invoices and account coding
Oversee work order system and maintenance tickets; ensure engineering team follows through on all assigned work orders
Organize and manage property management information databases
Continually update Property Managers on activity at properties in high volume, busy work environment
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
A high school diploma is required; Bachelor's degree is preferred
(2 ) years of experience in a commercial property management team strongly preferred
Advanced oral and written communication skills
Strong organization and time management skills
Experience in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel required
Knowledge of Yardi, work orders, certificates of insurance, tenant interaction, and Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable preferred
