Shift Schedule
Monday - Friday 8AM to 4PM
General Duties
* Perform all duties of all-purpose maintenance and Repair Carpenter
* Perform fabrication, installation and repair of fixtures, fittings, infrastructure and equipment across laboratory, manufacturing, exterior, mechanical, electrical, and common spaces
As part of the above responsibilities, this position:
Assists in the completion of the building audit
Based on assigned work orders, reviews, and prioritizes requests for work
Determines activities required for completion of a work order (WO).
Confers/communicates with work order requesters
Estimates the labor/materials required for completion of a WO, estimates and reviews work order bill of materials.
Determines and arranges any operational safety requirements for the completion of a WO
Determines dates and duration to complete WOs
Coordinates with client representatives to understand their needs and to ensure the work schedule takes account of the downtime windows negotiated with clients, where necessary
Responsibility to ensure work order data is stored according to the procedure in place related to the maintenance program
Uncrates and places new equipment as it arrives on site. Builds and recrates delicate equipment in preparation for shipping to global designation.
Perform routine and general repairs on the following equipment but not limited to:Door closers and hardware, Overhead doors, Dock Levelers, Interlock doors, Uncrating and recreating of client equipment.
Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and installation of small construction projects such as:Walls, (metal studs, sheetrock, tape)
Patch & paint defects or holes in walls and ceilings
Drop ceilings
Floor and carpet repairs
Building and repairs of equipment, shelving, racking and various equipment
Assist Technicians in the maintenance and proper functionality of all equipment under JLL responsibility
May be required to review and assist with construction and installation of systems and expansion of existing systems
Performs removal of empties, installation of portable gas Dewar tanks and cylinders which includes moving, storage, and connecting to equipment
Conforms and follows all safety requirements including but not limited to: PPE Requirements, All required work permits, JHA, Perform LOTO in accordance with industry standards
Achieve all targeted client KPI by successfully completing the followingGood Catch Near Misses
Work Order Schedule Adherence
Adhere to all Environmental, Regulatory, Statutory and Industry Compliance rules and laws
Complete all assigned training on-time
Willingness to support other tasks, work types and trades as assigned
Requirements
High School diploma
5-10 years' experience in Carpentry (Required)
4 year working in GMP BioPharma or Pharmaceutical industry (Preferred)
Excellent interpersonal communications skills (Required)
Experience with planning and scheduling of maintenance activities
Able to interact with all levels of the organization and outside contractors and engineers.
Knowledge of OSHA standards and local codes
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports
Use of a Windows based PC's and programs
Assist other building maintenance team and FM with troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance
Ability to frequently walk up and down stairs for inspections and emergency procedure practice or implementation
Ability to climb ladders up to 40 feet and lift 60 lbs. repeatedly
Ability to operate table saws, drills, skill saws, power, and hammer drills
Ability to operate 2-4-man scissor lifts
Valid state driver's license
Pay Rate: $35.00 PH
