JLS Solutions is seeking an Electrical Supervisor for OF support in Carlsbad, NM. NM/TX Journeyman or Master Electrical license required, and excellent working knowledge of oilfield electrical construction including automation.
Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Electrical Manager, plan, schedule, assign, and supervisor the work of electrical crews engaged in the construction and maintenance of overhead and underground electrical distribution systems; provide technical assistance and training to crews and related work as assigned. Supervise electrical crew, delegate work assignments, manage daily paperwork including field tickets, time sheets and Job site Safety Analyses, develop subordinates skills and plan layouts. Supervise the operational and administrative activities of line, oilfield electrical, and automation. Duties include multiple job supervision as both Superintendent and Foreman. Must be able to plan small to medium sized jobs from start to finish.
Requirements
- A proven track record of delivering safe projects on schedule and within budget
- Directing and monitoring large crews of tradesman
- General Industry Safety practices and applications
- Communication with clients regarding construction and schedules
- Use of MS Excel, MS Teams, MS Word, Bluebeam, and other computer applications
- Excellent communication skills
- Valid Driver’s License
- Clean driving record that allows insurability
- General business knowledge and an ability to monitor job metrics data
- Desire to drive project success and increase profitability
- Ability to train tradesman in standard installation methods
Qualifications
- Journeyman or Master Electrician License in TX/NM
- Safety-minded and follow safety regulations
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must have a knowledge of and ability to interpret the NEC Code Book
- Ability to read electrical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
- Willing to submit to pre-employment, random and for cause drug testing
