Our client in Buffalo, New York is looking for a Sales Manager.
This is an hybrid/full-time/direct-hire position.
Salary based on experience: $80k-$90k base, $150k-$160k OTE
Our client is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to join our team. As the Sales Manager, you will be pivotal in driving our sales growth to new heights. You will be responsible for leading a team of account executives, developing strategic plans to achieve sales targets, and cultivating strong relationships with clients.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
- Develop comprehensive and innovative strategic plans to achieve sales targets, taking into account market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with the executive team to align sales goals with overall business objectives and ensure cross-departmental synergy.
Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of sales professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Set clear performance expectations, provide ongoing feedback, and support the professional development of team members.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs, challenges, and opportunities.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering tailored solutions and driving value-added interactions at every touchpoint.
Market Intelligence and Analysis:
- Stay abreast of industry-specific trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
- Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market insights to refine sales strategies and optimize resource allocation.
Communication and Reporting:
- Effectively communicate sales goals, progress, and performance metrics to C-level executives, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and reports that articulate the value proposition of our products and services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience with or selling into Contact Centers (or similar).
- Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar capacity.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking, with the ability to translate data and insights into actionable plans and initiatives.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to inspire and motivate teams, drive results, and foster a positive work environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant sales and marketing tools.
