Description
This position will be responsible for checking print quality, registration, color and establishing finished good counts.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inspects production prints for color, registration, and print quality according to customer specifications and/or company standards.
- Record quantities of rejected material and acceptable prints.
- Prepare parts for shipment as detailed on work orders.
- Completes paperwork associated with parts and customer requirements.
- Maintains cleanliness of work area and equipment.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Carries out conduct and leadership responsibilities in accordance with company policies, procedures, safety, and applicable laws.
QUALIFICATIONS

- Minimum HS Diploma/GED.
- One to three months of inspection experience preferred.
- Keen eye to detail
- Ability to count and apply basic math skills
- Above average hand/eye coordination
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to read job bag
- Sense of quality and able to inspect against customer specifications
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to lift 35 pounds
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. One to three months related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have good judgment of color, design, and print quality.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standard situations.
