Our organization is seeking experienced Molding Technician to help support our growing business. This position exposes employees to a fast-paced work environment and offers a great opportunity for Skilled Technicians.
CLIMATE CONTROLLED new facility.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are 2nd Shift Monday - Friday 3:00pm - 11:30pm
(40 hours per week). Occasional weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

What we are looking for in a candidate is someone who can support the following.
Essential Functions
- Diagnose problems with the process and secondary equipment along with some electrical troubleshooting.
- Set large molds and track water circuits.
- Responsible for change over and set up of all injection molding machines and secondary equipment to make a high-quality part that meets the customer specifications and guidelines. This would include color changes of approximately 5-6 per week
- Responsible for troubleshooting the process, including machines and all related equipment, with assistance from maintenance personnel if needed.
- Maintain constant surveillance of quality.
- Must be familiar with individual product specifications as stated on the bill and router and Q.C. specifications and take immediate action to correct deviations from specifications.
- Perform weekly PMs of molds in press
- Work closely with all shift supervisors and plant personnel to bring about continuous improvements.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the shift supervisor or process engineer.
- Perform overtime duties as assigned by the shift supervisor or process engineer
Secondary Job Functions
- Participate in all required policy and safety training.
- Essential team member for multi-department initiatives
- Provide backup support for the Molding Department
Supervisory Responsibility: None
Preferred Education and Experience:
RJG /scientific molding experience
Overhead Crane
Mold setting General Robotics Knowledge
Injection Molding Certification(s) - preferred
