Responsibilities
Provide the leadership to ensure the safety of all employees and visitors in close collaboration with Safety Coordinator and senior management with a goal to achieve the following results.
Improved incident reporting
Elimination of Recordable accidents

Industry leading Housekeeping
Oversee and coordinate the various contractors, suppliers, and equipment manufacturers to ensure a timely and seamless startup of the new plant.
Hire, train and lead the production staff and monitor work distribution among all areas of production in accordance with the accountability chart.
Lead Production Scheduling to maximize production by efficiently utilizing labor and materials to meet production goals and customer demand.
Integrate the EOS methods for managing the plant including weekly meetings, to do's, issues, and Rocks that align with company V/TO.
Work closely with Sales and estimating to identify costs.
Meet all industry standard quality control standards including ACPA, TCPA, NPCA and TxDOT.
Utilize ERP software to establish standards and quantify output. Maintain and communicate daily plant KPI's including the scorecard.
Deploy appropriate LEAN manufacturing tools as required to drive continuous improvement including.
Visual KPI boards
Value Mapping
5S
Kaizen Events
Gemba Walks
Standardized work (visual operating procedures)
Oversee, employee reviews, manage OT, employee discipline, enforcement of all company policies and be sure production workers are "right person right seat”.
Ensure that Daily, Weekly and Monthly Preventative maintenance is performed on all equipment.
Requirements
Must have strong interpersonal skills with demonstrable success in leading people and processes.
Must have demonstrated experience in Packerhead pipe production systems.
ACPA certified with a minimum of a CP3 course or equivalent completion preferred.
Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment with production, purchasing, engineering, sales, quality, finance, human resources and other stake holders within the organization.
Experience in Kaizen or constant improvement process Lean manufacturing.
Must have the ability to build a team aligned with Client culture.
Must have 5 to 10 years' supervisory or managerial experience in a pipe d precast manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of Titan ERP and MS Project software a plus.
Work Environment
Work in indoor and outdoor weather conditions, including extreme hot or cold temperatures.
Work near moving machinery and equipment - could include electrical hazards.
Work in confined spaces.
Work in a noisy environment.
