We are seeking an experienced painter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for painting various surfaces, including walls, ceilings, doors, and cabinets. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail and be able to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, filling holes, and washing walls
- Mix, match, and apply paints and other finishes to various surfaces
- Follow blueprints and instructions to determine the types and quantities of materials required
- Use brushes, rollers, or spray guns to apply paint and other finishes
- Apply decorative and faux finishes as required
- Ensure all painting equipment is cleaned and maintained properly
- Cover floors, furniture, and other surfaces with drop cloths or tarps to protect them from paint splatters
- Meet project deadlines and work within budgetary constraints
- Communicate with clients to ensure their painting needs are met
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a painter
- Excellent knowledge of painting material and how to select, mix, and apply them
- Familiarity with painting tools and equipment
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines

Salary: $21.00 - $22.55 per hour
