TITLE: Director Surgical Services
\nLOCATION: Fairfield, IA

\nWhat they are looking for:
\n•Associates and Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
\n•5 years previous Surgical Services experience is preferred and a couple years of management experience in an acute care setting.
\n•Current RN License in Iowa needed at time of hire and current BLS, ACLS, PALS.
\nHours and compensation potential:
\n•The position is a full time position.
\n•The range is between $93K-$125K.
\n•The facility offers a full benefit package and will help with relocation/sign-on bonus.
\nWhat you’ll be doing:
\n•The Director of Surgical Services is a registered professional nurse who assumes a 24 hour accountability and responsibility for overall Surgical Services operations.
\n•Responsible for selection of staff and implementation of the service structure, as well as, maintaining the patient centered culture of the hospital.
\n•Responsible for the management of multiple aspects within the patient care environment, monitoring and maintaining clinical standards of care, and is accountable for appropriate staffing resources to provide quality patient care.
\n•Participates in or chairs committees, work groups, and meetings as deemed necessary.
\n•He/she provides organizational leadership in the development, implementation and maintenance of service consistent with the Mission, Vision, Values and Strategic Plan.
\n•Develops annual revenue, personnel, operations, and capital expense budgets for surgical services by using valid rationale, justification and recommendations for the budget requests.
\nAdditional info:
\n•Facility is 200 beds. Position reports to the CNO.
