We're seeking professionals with Process Safety Management (PSM) expertise and a strong focus on Behavior-Based Safety to drive EHS excellence while connecting with employees on the plant floor at our manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure safety and environmental compliance.
- Lead EHS inspections and audits.
- Develop policies and programs aligned with regulations.
- Coach plant personnel on EHS practices.
- Analyze EHS metrics, manage data collection.
- Administer EHS data systems.
- Maintain government permit records.
- Lead energy conservation and improvement projects.
- Chair safety committee.
- Mentor behavior-based safety observations.
- Contribute to emergency response planning.
- Participate in job safety analysis.
- Deliver EHS training.
- Oversee EHS record-keeping.
- Report Workers Compensation claims.
- Collaborate on light-duty opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
- 3-5 years manufacturing EHS experience (5 years overall).
- Strong manufacturing safety background.
- Proven injury reduction and EHS culture enhancement.
- Knowledge of federal and state safety and environmental laws.
- Effective communication skills.
- Proficient in multitasking.
