Job Shop is hiring for an Accountant with a family-owned company in Ulmer, SC!

Where: Ulmer, SC

Pay: $35K (depending on experience)

Hours: Monday – Friday (Day Shift)

Responsibilities for Accountant:

accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently and accurately using QuickBooks.
invoices, purchase orders, and payments in a timely manner.
vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue payments.
financial reports and assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
with other team members to ensure financial data accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
with audits and other financial projects as needed.

Requirements:

degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred but not required.
experience 3 years working as an accountant.
in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
understanding of accounting principles and practices.
attention to detail and organizational skills.
to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
communication and interpersonal skills.
