We are seeking a Permanent Maintenance Supervisor to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. This is a critical role that requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and practical experience in the manufacturing industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our maintenance department, ensuring that all machinery and equipment are in optimal working condition, and minimizing downtime.

This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities :

1. Oversee the maintenance department's daily operations, ensuring that all machinery and equipment are in optimal working condition.

2. Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and longevity.

3. Lead, coach, and develop a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety.

4. Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities and minimize production downtime.

5. Troubleshoot complex machinery issues and provide technical guidance to the maintenance team.

6. Manage maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.

7. Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.

8. Continuously evaluate the efficiency of maintenance procedures and recommend improvements.

9. Collaborate with the engineering team to address equipment design and installation issues.

10. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and equipment statuses.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.

2. A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a maintenance supervisory role within the manufacturing industry.

3. Demonstrated expertise in the maintenance and repair of industrial machinery and equipment.

4. Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate and manage a team.

5. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis and long-term solutions.

6. Proficient in the use of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

7. Solid understanding of safety regulations and industry standards.

8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

9. Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

10. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

11. Willingness to be on call for emergencies or assist with after-hours maintenance as needed.

12. Professional certifications in Maintenance Management or related fields will be an added advantage.
