We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Packaging Supervisor to lead our team in the Manufacturing industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual who is seeking a challenging and rewarding role in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the packaging process, from production scheduling to quality control.
This role requires a strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, process improvement strategies, and inventory management.
Responsibilities :
1. Oversee and manage all packaging operations, ensuring all products are packaged accurately and efficiently.
2. Implement and maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and British Retail Consortium (BRC) standards.
3. Ensure compliance with Safe Quality Food (SQF) requirements.
4. Develop and implement production schedules, taking into account production capabilities, manpower, and materials.
5. Utilize lean manufacturing principles to optimize productivity and minimize waste.
6. Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
7. Manage and maintain inventory levels, ensuring adequate supply of materials for production.
8. Supervise and train staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
9. Implement and oversee quality control measures, ensuring all products meet the highest standards of quality.
10. Collaborate with other department heads to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Qualifications :
1. At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Extensive knowledge of packaging processes and machinery.
3. Strong understanding of production scheduling and lean manufacturing principles.
4. Proven track record in process improvement and production management.
5. Experience in inventory management and quality control.
6. Familiarity with GMP, BRC, and SQF standards.
7. Exceptional leadership and supervision skills.
8. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
